Unfortunately archery season has been kind of a bust for me so far, just struggling to get time away from work to hunt. But our firearms season did find me in the woods and while I didn't see a buck that I was willing to burn my tag on I did shoot a nice fat doe. And she provided us with some fine meat to snack on. 
Bought some premixed seasoning from https://www.owensbbq.com/meat-stick-seasoning.html to test drive. I got the original and jalapeno mixes. Both are good although I think the next batch of original I will add some red pepper flakes to spruce it up a bit. The jalapeno is excellent, just a bit of bite w/o being overpowering. Now I find myself needing another deer to really stock up on these snack sticks.
