I found his "review" on the 400TD to be hardly anything more than a spec and feature rundown. Didn't give any real opinions or comparisons in it. Which is not typical for him.

I'd like to try one out though. Take off Air Brakes, EX-Shox, and Limb Dampeners to reduce the weight (but keep REDS on), cause I've heard they are already loud so why not let them be loud and maximize their speed. Super heavy draw weight but that is what the Charger EXT is for. And make sure to adjust the TD screw properly until things settle in. Do that and they are great bows I hear.

I got one nearly a year ago. It is a great bow! They come with 16.5" arrows but I'm using 18". It is a very accurate bow but then all Excaliburs are! This is one hardcore hunting rig! I am currently using 400 gr arrows (tip included) but plan on going to 430 this year. This is not an ordinary crossbow!
