Swat Gen 2?????

Not into polls but we’re getting close to see if Old Flyer’s Gen 2 Swat will come to reality or die as a dream for Sew & the others who are so fond of the initial design. What are the chances we’ll see it come to reality in a few days at the ATA Show or is it forever doomed to just be a hope in the eyes of those who want to see it come about.

I’m absolutely amazed at how well companies have kept their secrets except for the company sponsored teasers. This year seems like a record.

Companies take a gamble and contract for a certain # of components for a certain model well before their introduction. Bad press , even on minor items, goes a long way in the cyber world. The SWAT, the most impressive and my favorite crossbow, was plagued with a minor, but bow disabling problem. Regardless, I’m sure that KI knows what a diamond they had in the SWAT. In less than 48 hours, we should all know what KI has done. Possibly, an even better diamond!

I’ve shot all the frontline crossbows. None are as desirable to me as the 3 year old SWAT. A revised SWAT , imo, would be by far the most practical bow for 99% of the hunters. <48 hours , we’ll know.

Even if a Swat gen 2 doesn't show this year, I don't think it's the end of this awesome design of Jeff's! There's always a chance someone will wake up to the potential some time!...And I don't think Jeff will ever burn the plans for his X25!!! And in the meantime, I will enjoy my Swat, like many others! Good-by to archer's paradox....! :D
