Knocked down #5 this afternoon. Nothing to brag about, 6 pointer with way more body than antlers so it was probably good to take him. I sure won’t let the meat go to waste! Here’s some pics of the holes from my first kill with the Thorns the wife got me for Christmas.

He fell over dead at maybe 70 yards. Started wobbling long before. Even though I was in a tree due to the lay of the land, entry and exit were both high lung so blood trail woulda been bad but he fell over quick and humane. I was impressed with the Thorn.

The head survived. No pics. I was meat hunting and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the season winding down.
