I have TenPoint EVO-X CenterPunch Carbon Arrows, both the plastic and aluminum nocks.
I noticed the plastic nocks have a little "tit" or raised ball, on the index vane while the aluminum nocks do not.

What is the purpose of the tit?
To ride down the rail straighter, or ???

Why put it on one nock and not the other, manufacturing ease, i.e too hard to duplicate with the aluminum nock?
Is the plastic nock more accurate?

Yes, i am bored right now, it is raining outside.

The raised ball is supposed to be lined up with the cock vane when you put the nock in to the receiver. Why they don't have them on the aluminum nocks is beyond me, as I don't have any aluminum nocks.
