All I got to say is if you don't think Ravin hasn't change the industry forever, just look at who just copied them.
It's great for the customer though because now for the first time, Ravin appears to have some viable competition.

Here you go, a Barnett Ghost 410 tuned for test purposes only set up for target shooting.
Technology Electronic device Auto part Vehicle Measuring instrument
Games Recreation Arrow

At the present time this crossbow is tuned to shoot a 20" Carbon Express Pile Driver 450 grain arrow-point combination averaging 421 to 423 feet per second.

Keep an eye out for the Talisman crossbows as earlier in 2019 he had hopes of coming to the ATA in 2020.

All the best.

Bigbird1 what do you mean when you say tenpoint just copied Ravin? Are you referring to the new rail? I’m not getting all huffy, I just don’t see what your talking about.
I like the new offering but a 3k Msrp is going to have me checking out everything before I pull the trigger. It better be the cat’s meow. Nice rig. The chrono has topped out though.
From what I remember hearing, Ravin was paying everyone else. Either way, all these manufacturers need to come back to planet earth with their prices.

There are lots of bows on the market that will do that with a 270 grain arrow if they don't blow up trying it.

If you look at the arrow in the picture it is marked 306.4 grain.

Many of these new crossbows just need better quality parts and properly tuned to increase speed and reliability. They are coming out from the manufacture where they will not make the advertised speed due to improper tuning.

All the best.
I also think the prices of top Xbows is to high ,you buy a new Xbow and a couple years later the thing is worth about half of the price you gave for it,buy a gun for the price of a top Xbow and 10years later you can get your money back and maybe more, if you walk into a bow shop with a 10year old bow you get made fun of ,or you are just felt sorry for, you just have to love bows and I will buy a new one this year anyway.

For $3,000.00? … My two Scorpyds are looking like "Generational Crossbows!"...lol:D Meaning the 410fps I get out of my Orion and the 440fps I could get out of my Velocity with a lighter arrow are looking more and more "adequate" for the foreseeable future. :) At some point I think the buying public is going to say enough is enough. Sort of like the tsunami of "subscription services." Everyone and their brother wants you to send then $9.99 - $200.00 a month for everything from Sirius music, telephones, video games, YouTube, Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, GM On-Star, etc., etc., etc. Enough already!

Why? There's more than enough people with more money than... (well, I won't say it) who will continue to pay those prices for the privilege of being the first kid on the block to have one.
Want lower prices? Stop paying high prices. Simple economics.
