Hey guys,

I'm new to crossbownation. I recently acquired a 2019 tenpoint Nitro XRT. I was wondering if there is any special tricks to caring for this beast. There are certainly Alot more moving parts than my old crossbow.

Any advice is appreciated.

A good quality product is the Trident Silicone Grease available in a 2 ounce
jar on the internet. This is a high quality product that does not dry out or gum
up, but stays moist. A wee bit goes along way.

I use a small paint brush and lightly lube the bowstring, cables, serving and
the rail. Shooting 8 shots before retrieving my arrows. I may lube every 8 or
16 shots as required.

The picture you submitted in Post #5 "Trident in the jar" is what I referred to.
I use that on all my crossbows and have done for several years. A very high
quality product. Doing a lot of target shooting, it has been well tested.

I picked up a jar of trident last year. Pretty amazing stuff, with the little bit you need a jar will last quite a while.
