Went out in front of my place to my shack and rustled up some lake trout dinner. 4.5 pounds,perfect dinner for two and a little left over for the pup.
12+inches of ice,two feet of snow and a lot of slush from the freezing rain and big snow storm on Saturday.
While it’s not hunting it is a pastime for our five months of winter.....

The second one ya caught looks to be hard on your teeth, me thinks!!

Picked that up last year when we had similar conditions to this year. I couldn’t make it out to the shack with my four wheeler because of the slush. The old Polaris floats right over that nasty stuff...
