The future of archery hunting..... Start'em young!

I had to share this pic of my 5 year old grandson sitting in the ground blind on his second hunt. I think our sport is in good hands. ;)

That little rascal is the reason why I work out three times a week. When he's ready to go west on a hunt, god willing I want to be there to hike in 5 plus years from now.

Oh, and he's named after Wyatt Earp too. For real! It can't get better than that! :D

Tom, you are enjoying him now and have a lot to look forwards to too. My grandbaby is almost 10 months old and I'm already looking forwards to our times together in the blinds too. :)

Way to get those youngsters out hunting.

My baby girl is 32 somehow. Seems impossible to me. Her only hunting interest was following coon dogs. Started taking her with me when she was 3. Many a time I carried her going to the treeing dogs. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 15 and ended up legally blind. That pretty much ended her hunting though she occasionally helps me drag a deer if I go slow, which isn't an issue for me these days.
She has an 8 year old daughter who loves shooting her bow with her daddy but so far no interest in hunting.

Kids are alot more mature at an early age now days than when I was their age, I've noticed. Im not sure if it's just human evolution in how the brain is evolving from the day of creation or if it's just from artificial intelligence through computers that's causing this but, regardless, its a good thing. I just think it's ashame that schools, the educational system, are withholding history from them. They are not teaching our children anything about proper ethics and political and religious views. It's a form of brainwashing, without trying to sound to cynical or fanatical here. I don't want anyone misunderstanding me but, I'm just concerned about our children missing out on why this country was even established in the first place. They our the country, our kids, and they need to be informed to prevent any changes for the worst. Terrorism has many forms and withholding information and education about our creator is one. When I say creator I say love and compassion for one another and patience and unselfish generosity and support for eachother and acceptance.

In my opinion, it is naive to believe this is plain accidental negligence. The very same here in Europe.
The self-sufficient, self-thinking human is the greatest enemy of the state - at least in it's contemporary incarnations.

I have three grandsons ages 12 to 22. They were exposed to hunting their entire life and they could care less about hunting. I think the hunting part of our culture is slowly fading away.
Tom, that’s so cool! Thanks for sharing!

That's why I mentioned about terrorism having many forms. Could it be that somehow they are targeting our children and starting at the root of our country by withholding proper teachings about what America has been established for. Or could it all just be accidental ?
