I have a single pencil shaped arrow version. It’s a toy, not suitable for hunting anything IMO.

When I was a kid there were 3 poachers that used to bring deer to the slaughter house 5 minutes from where I lived year round and they were all taken with small caliber rifles

According to convictions for poaching (all states) a bow (any bow) is single digit weapon percentage. Guns are the weapon of choice.
I dont have the report that I am remembering but I am confident some time on google could locate that.

A little common sense would also reveal why a bow isnt a great weapon for poaching. You are involved in an illegal activity. The idea is to get it done quick. Shooting a deer and then tracking it in the dark for an unknown time/distance makes no sense. The head/high shoulder shot that drops the animal on the spot is the preferred method for quick getaway.
