I wish my camera had been set on video mode for this encounter.

The hog does take advantage of the coons ability to climb the feeders legs and dislodge corn off the feeder motor spinner plate. The hog will come in, run the coons off, eat all the corn on the ground and then retreat far enough to allow the coons to resume their climb up the feeder to dislodge more corn. You guessed it, he then comes back in to eat the corn the coons have dislodged and the whole process begins again. Hogs are smart critters.

Coons … are going to have to arm themselves.

I wish the hogs and coons could somehow achieve mutual destruction.
Both of their populations are booming in my area.
