TOP FIVE BOW PICKS

So I thought why not throw up a list of what I would pick for the best five bows
If I were a rich man......to own.
Not going to go into why, but each model has something special to offer and merits a place on the list.
Money is not at all part of the equation in this post.

2023 Tenpoint nitro
Ravin r29x
Excalibur mIcro 380 with cocker
Mission Sub1 Xr
Ravin R10x

Feel free to post up your top five.
The top five most include some bows you dont own.

I'd stop ... at the first two. I wouldn't want slower, nor bigger, nor with a lesser crank. If I was forced to choose three more bows they'd be a Scorpyd, a SWAT, and Ten Point Flatline 460.

Scorpyd Deathstalker or SWAT X1 for timber and thicket hunting.
Scorpyd Tremor or TenPoint Nitro 505 for field edge hunting.
Mission Sub 1 series for competition archery (easily adjustable to meet speed requirements)

My top five...at least at the time of this writing are:

1) Mission Sub One Lite
2) Mission Sub One
3) Tenpoint Turbo S1
4) Excalibur Bulldog 330- no longer produced
5) Excalibur Wolverine

I've played with speed, and FOR ME, it's overrated.
I rarely hunt fields and if I did much more (of that), I'd probably consider a purchase of a Burris or Garmin unit. These bows are bread and butter for me...more than adequate to do the job I'd need them to do... pretty darn easy to self maintain, not harsh at the shot, don't weigh a ton..but that would change with one of the above scopes mentioned....and are proven platforms..by far, the best crossbow, and the most fun to shoot, all around, is the Lite....love that bow! And have taken a pile of deer with it too👍

All of the above recommendations are excellent in my opinion.
For compact, I'd also throw the Siege and R26 in the mix.

Have had or do have all of these and this is how I would rate them. The top 2 are a draw IMO.

On the grand scale of things, I haven't shot nearly all of em, so some guesses here.
#1, Swat X1
#2, Excalibur Micro midweights
#3, CP Wrath 430
#4, WR NXT 400
#5, Swiss Twinbow if it didn't eat limbs
Interesting.....a few r29x in there
The R29X ... is a great bow if it isn't blowing up on you. 😂 Light weight, narrow, fast and deadly accurate with standard 400gr Black Eagle Executioner arrows. What's not to love? Other than that little unintentional violent disassembly issue.:p;)

Having shot Jim’s 505, I was impressed. I don’t think you can just buy a 505 without also buying the very best targets available plus WWB custom arrows, so the cost goes up. Considering what I have, the only commercial bow that really interests me is the SWAT X1, and that would be a bit redundant. Not interested in joining the Dark Side.

I haven't shot all that many different bows and none of the top of the line from any manufacturer. So this is a list of what intrigues me.
1. burky toxin
That's about it. 😁

This moonized R26 (slowed to my optimal hunting speed of 352 fps with 403 grain arrows simply by putting R29 string and cables on it) is still going strong and trouble free after 3 years of flinging arrows.😊
You can have your whizbangers🙈🙉😆.
