hi everyone as the title says this is all new to me entirely!
illegal to hunt anything with any sort of bow here in britain but looking to get involvd wuth the sport somehow?? ex gamekeeper and firearms holder.

Welcome to site and glad to have you. You are our first member from across the pond. Even though you can't hunt, target shooting with a crossbow is still a blast. The nice thing is you can shoot them in most residential areas. (if you have the room)

Europe needs to loosen up with hunting restrictions so you guys can have some fun I spent quite a bit of time in Germany in the 80's and 90's and when I would tell them I bowhunted they looked at me like I was crazy (maybe so They were fascinated and acted as if they did not believe me. I noticed they had lots of deer in the countryside so bowhunting and crossbow hunting would really be good in the area I was in (Stuttgart).
