What would you name it?

Crossbow manufacturers come up with some super cool names for their products, don't they?

I'm a hunter, so "Ventilator" is one of the names that is pretty creative in my mind. I carry a Stealth, and I like that name too.

There are also those "ho-hum" names that basically describe the capabilities of a crossbow with numbers (usually indicating fps) and abbreviations that we all seem to understand (ex. "RDX). And there are a few model names that I think were mistakes, but I'll keep negative opinions to myself, and ask that others try to keep this thread POSITIVE.

What are your favorite model names of current crossbows, regardless of whether you like the product itself or not?

-and/or-

What would you name a new crossbow model if you were asked to name one?

I assure you that I'm not asking because I have a new xb to introduce into the market! Just having a little fun...

Whatever one thinks of Ravin, I like their simple model names like "R10" or "R29". Or MK's XB<nn> naming sheme.
To be honest, attention-craving names like Assassin, Ripper, Sniper, Tomahawk or whatever are ridiuclous on second thought. Just to create an emotional reflex, instead of having a distinguished product.

As some might suspect, I grew up in a time and place with almost no ads. They do not impress me at all.

I didn't really care for the name of my "Storm", but I think the name of my "Velocity" is appropriate.

These are some good names guys!
I personally think the names do evoke emotions, good or bad, and possibly armor for xb critics. In my promise to keep things positive, I won't comment on the names that I think could draw negative attention to the xb industry... but there are a few for sure!

I love Flatliner Nepabow.

I do find it interesting that many xb's have interesting names, whereas you don't see that so much in the gun industry.

That was their 3rd model.lol
If it was a Barnett Ghost I would suggest "Sneaky". Like a Ghost it sneaks in and sneaks out.

All the best.

Yup... I personally am a fan of the names that imply things associated with hunting, since that’s my primary use of the xb. So names that suggesting things like quietness, stealthy, success at the hunt (“ventilate”), accuracy...
