Hey guys have a chance to buy an A4 package at a great price, so hears my question. I have no know camx dealers around me. How hard are they to work on? String changes,,cables ext? I have excaliburs now it's just time for something easier to cock

I was in the same boat you are. Got a great deal and have no regrets whatsoever. My local shop will work on them, even though he is not a CAMX dealer. No more difficult to work on than any other crossbow.

In my humble opinion, the A4 package is the best overall value going right now. After buying the A4, I also purchased a 330 for my son. We love it too.

MADE IN USA crossbow. You won’t regret buying the CAMX

Specialized uses the original Camx Chaos 325. Not the same as the A4!

Ive always liked the CAMX crossbows. Good warranties and good looking well built crossbows. I'd say go for it!;)

The only complain and this is a personal one is the trigger. Very stiff. Going to contact them and see if it can be worked on. Fingers crossed.

First try and no response. I will give them three tries and then move on. The first try was their website email. Tomorrow a cell call.
I've seen NIB 330's currently going for $285. That is a steal. Less complicated and lighter than the A4's also.

I like mine, very accurate to 50 yds with broadheads, trigger is I guess like a shotgun trigger, good enough to shoot 2 in groups at 50 yds. It's a smooth trigger, with a slight roll to it. A little weight forward as you might expect, but manageable. Scope is very clear 4x. Moderate speed, 370 with 390gr arrows. Easy to draw and it can be let down without shooting. My strings and cables are holding up very well. Build quality is rugged. No need to spend thousands on the next best xbow, the A4 it more than capabil.

I did get ahold of them by phone. I explained the problem and they gave me an RA no. for free postage and they have it right now. So far good service. Let's see if they can improve the trigger.

Keep us posted. The trigger as is is good but a little heavy.

My experience with CAMX customer service has been outstanding. The camo on one of my limbs started peeling off in one area. They paid postage BOTH ways and had the bow back to me in less than two weeks. NO CHARGE. Also had the serving start to wear after about 200 shots. I called to purchase one and the wouldn’t let me. Sent me one in the mail. Again NO CHARGE!

No new bows the past two years though. Not sure what to make of that?

My trigger had this scratchy heavy travel. When I shot my buck I did not notice but otherwise I did. Could be better.
I got to say the A4 is a fine shooting xbow.
