What's a decent crossbow scope under a $100?

Isn't that an oxymoron? LOL
I lost a chance for a nice buck because of cheap scope. Today, just bought an Evo-X for next year, so the same thing won't happen again. The first deer I tip over at dusk, will make up for the added expense, IMHO :D Just the dollar value in one deer can cover the difference maybe.
Just another way of look'n at it.
Good luck with your quest though.

Scope that came with crossbow is not all that great, it will due till end of season but not next year.
Thanks, I didn't even knowb redfield made xbow scopes. My first crossbow.b
I just zeroed that same Redfield crossbow scope on my bow this evening. Looks GREAT for the money spent. $60. I removed a Horton/Hawke and replaced it with this scope.

I was looking at a hawke scope thanks for the reply. Redfield is good run for the money
I'm stealing Wapster's line.... Thank me later. ;)

$80 spent and a $200-300 in value. Not an EVO-X Marksman but a very solid scope with lots of features for very little money.
But,but ,but......its full of circles...

Yes, it is and they are above and below the centerline....... Different doesn't necessarily mean bad ;)

What am I missing here. This scope seems like the best bang for the buck.

Part of the fun is finding the best deal/scope. Good luck.

The only thing I can think of is it may be more complicated to zero that some folks care to do. Beyond that, it's a top shelf offering at a bargain price.

Dagwood, I dabble every now and then with Xbow scopes but my goto is a red dot. ;)

Makes sense to me.

On Dec 20th I took a nice 10 pt at about 7:45am with my ML. I had a Zeiss Conquest on it and the picture was crystal clear. I’m sure lesser scopes could have seen the buck in that lowlight, but I have trouble when skimping on optics.

Good luck on finding what you want.
.
I use the Ravin takeoff scope mentioned above. It works fine.
I hunt with a used $75 pawn shop Traditions 209 inline ML purchased 10+years ago. Have a T post reticle Montgomery Wards scope on it and don't remember where it came from. Never fails to bring home groceries, mostly spike or doe. It is a tool that works and I get to spend more time in the woods. Go hunt, be happy.

I bought a .450 Bushmaster upper last year to use on my AR15 occasionally, and bought this scope for it. Nothing fancy but it has the 4A reticle with an illuminated dot - my favorite type. The turrets are in MOA with locking rings. For the money it’s a nice scope and should work on a crossbow as well.

I recently bought a CP Patriot and was not satisfied with the scope that came with the package. I found a KI Lumix speed ring 1.5-5x32 on clearance at my local big box store. I don't like the Lumix much better than the scope that came with the package. It's too inconsistent with it's severe parallax and it has focus issues as well. I just ordered one of the Ravin take off scopes from Wyvern...I sure hope I'm satisfied with it. I'll report back on the Ravin scope after I get it mounted and sighted in.
Ravin take off scope update. I've had the scope on for nearly two weeks now and I'm very please thus far. I did have one issue while sighting in that I think was caused by the crosshairs sticking after an adjustment but it's been smooth sailing thereafter. I've shot well over 100 times since that glitch with no more issues. This scope has much less parallax error than the previous two scopes and the focus is good on both the reticle and the target. Once I got the speed dial properly adjusted for my CP Patriot 415 (375 fps) it's spot on from 20-100 yards. I'm amazed at what this Xbow and scope are capable of with just off the shelf arrows. It shoots very tight groups out to 60 yards before they start to spread slightly from 70-100 yards. For $70 I think the Ravin take off scope from Wyvern is hard to beat. We'll see how it holds up over time.
