Quasi-commercial internet browers like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and the companies behind them hate adblockers.
Thus they came up with a new "standard", massively supported by the companies whose ads they push (and which often belong to the same conglomerate) - and it's called "Manifest V3", see e.g. here.

Long story short - with a browser that wants to force ads down your throat, you won't get out out if.
Change to a different browser that does not implement MV3, and which will continue to support adblockers.
These are e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Brave Browser, or Opera.
I mostly use Brave (which comes with same integrate adblockers) and additional adblockers installed (uBlock Origin), CBN still works fine, and I see no ads.

I am on a Chromebook laptop and use Google and use Adblock Plus and have not seen an ad on here since downloading the adblock plus years ago.

Yep and if I really want to see the site I will turn off my ad blocker and go into the site but before I leave it I will turn it back on again. Several sites deny access when using an ad blocker and usually I just ignore those sites.

90% or more forums belong to this company

Most of the popups I get wanting me to cut off my ad blocker are news sites that get links posted in the forums. I just leave on 90% of them but do cut it off if I really want to read the article.

Glad to see you post again. Nice doe. I hope you are enjoying your trip and time spent with your family. I hate to tell you this but most of us guys that already had family in the 90s are a lot older now and really can't be expected to do all the things we used to do. Just ask Moon about it.
