Hate to see anyone leave, loosing knowledge hurts. I don’t like ads but decided I get enough out of CBN to more than pay for the membership at a cost of a mid-priced hunting arrow. Best of luck.

The ads were terrible here yesterday and earlier today! Bypassing ad blockers and covering/ breaking up content. Popping up on sides, center & bottom of screen, made it virtually impossible to use the site. Thankfully the intrusive cluster f@&% of ads seems to have disappeared for now.

I don't think it's only about the ads. Whether a person is aware of it or not, there is a whole lot of negative affects from social media and this is social media. People should take holidays from social media from time to time. Heck, a person just may figure out that they are better off without it completely. I do take holidays from forums from time to time.

I dont get the big hangup with ads.

The fact is no ads, no forum! People build forums to make money.

I dont block them, never have. Half the time if not more I scroll past them without even thinking about them.

Hell, I dont even block the azzhole trouble makers I just out live them and move on. A friend once told me karma takes care of everything.

This is pretty much my view on it.
I’ve been dealing with ads ever since I was a youngster watching the Flintstones(they used to do ads for Winston cigarettes btw) so I’ve come to consider it a part of life.

My brother won't watch any sports on TV unless he records it and fast forwards through the commercials.
