Previously posted: My Barnett Wildcat C5 had an initial velocity vs arrow weight curve described by:
Feet/ Sec = (-116.5 x ln Wt, gr) +1016. My heavy hunt-ready arrow weighed 565 gr. and chrono-ed at 275 vs 278 calculated. Barnett's advertised arrow speed is 324 fps. A 400 gr arrow is expected to launch at 318 fps.

Forgot to run a 380 gr arrow. With the same formula the lighter arrow clocks as advertised at 323.9 fps.
