Best Excalibur crossbow made in the last 5 years?

I know this is an opinion but just curious.

I really like them all but for me the Axe340 is damn near perfect. AJ01 has one in Bottomland camo and it is one sharp looking rig!

Have you seen any of the custom bows floating around here on The Nation? Some real lookers lemme tell ya!

Welcome to the forum Bamabass99!

Yeah yours! 😃

I have a time share Excal Hybrid that Joe Pa built. Man what a sweet, light, shooter of a bow!

The Assassin ...

Not sure when it was made, but the Assassin 360 is one of my personal favorites. They are hard to find, but if you can find a used one, buy it! The internal crank works great and the sliding catch travels with ease. Did I mention it will stack arrows at 40 yards with ease? Well, most Excalibur's will...I do like the Rev X a lot as well, even though it's currently being worked on.

Thanks for the "Shout Out" Corey!!
This has become my favorite bow out of many.
It's a 340 with the Mossy Oak Bottomland Camo.
Overwatch scope and a custom Boo string!!

This pic is from last season before the new Boo string!!

Another vote for the Mag 340 - If you are a deer hunter hunting at 50 yards and in it is hard to beat IMO even though I’m a new to the crossbow…

Crazy accurate, shoots whatever you put on the rail but loves stiffer arrows, can shoot the heck out of it in the off season, easy (and cheap) to maintain at home. You can shoot it stock as it comes from the factory or easily modify it to the configuration you want. If you like single stage triggers over 2-stage do yourself a favor and put a Triggertech on it - simply took the bow to another level for me!

Still putting final modifications on my new addition but it is going to be another mainstay in the bow rack!

Oh - and LocTite Blue is your friend! Lock down every bolt you can - will save you time and headaches down the road! 👍

Recurve graveyard ... I found it! :p On remote little island off the coast of Massachusetts. They make their way there and die in peace after their owners abandon them for fast & exciting crossbows. For decades stickbow guys have thought the recurve graveyard was just a legend, but I found it! I'll keep the location a secret, so the unhinged stickbow/recurve fanatics don't sully and loot the sacred site. :sneaky:

I think you posted this on the wrong thread. If I zoom in on those recurves, they have the initials TP on them which stands for TOILET PAPER

I've played with a ton of Excalibur bows over the years ....as you can probably tell from my threads in the Classified section 👀👀😂😂. For "ME" I'll take a Matrix, or a Bulldog, over any of the Micro series. I like the stability and the (relatively) ease of cocking.... dependent on which model Matrix or Bulldog....
I probably post a burkyized Bulldog for sale in the next couple of days as I acquired a pair of barely used Matrix 355s that I am enjoying and plan to hunt the remainder of the season with ...

Excaliburs were ... created for Chinese warlords 5,000 years ago. :p 😂

The Mag 340 (a.k.a. Axe 340) is the most common. It is decent speed but won't hit 340 fps. Close, but you have to shoot the 350 grain 16 1/2" bolts. They are hard on bows due to all of the vibration. Guy like the shorter limbs. I had one but found it had wanted to roll on me. I prefer the Matrix bows for the wider limbs and longer power stroke.
The Excalibur bows are simple and effective. Timing is not an issue. If the string does stretch, you can easily adjust it with one of their stringers.
The factory scopes are not bad, but an upgrade is worth the money. Same for a Flemish string.
