Good luck finding the bitz Jeff.

I have the Bohning pro class jig. I've made some good arrows with it but it has a lot of slop in it. Just when I think I've got it figured out to where my vanes are spaced evenly. I'll end up with with a odd ball unevenly spaced.:poop: Good luck with it.

Stalker what Jig are you currently using? JoePA can you fletch 1° left offset. This is how I'm setting vanes on my arrows. I'm alway open to new ideas. JoePA look forward to your review.
I'm using the Bohning pro class. With both a right and straight clamp with a right offset.

Jeff I wish I was always right lol! You should tell my wife that!

As far as tightening things up. I've never looked into that. You may be onto something. I'll have to take a look at it. I did see a YouTube video a few years ago. The guy rotated it to its furthest point clockwise on each stop/vane. So that's what I've always done. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Not sure Paul. Took it apart and, as you know, they have half round raised tabs on one disk, while the other has triangular depressions. I’m gonna try some plastic compatible epoxy on the rounded bumps to see if they can be made more precise, kinda like glass bedding it. Got nothing to lose.

Also found my original Bitz this afternoon. Son was moving some stuff in before the official pod swap date, and the Bitz was hiding behind his 3d printer. LOL. I may ask him to print some plastic arc nocks if he can find a suitable plastic.
I thought about trying something like that myself Jeff. I figure it might not be that hard to get them to lock more solidly. the hard part would be getting them spaced evenly imo. Like you said nothing to loose, I may mess with it someday. Meanwhile I just ordered a Bitz. With a crossbow reciever and the AAE Bitz knob

The Bohning pro class was a gift. The only jig I've ever used. I got my moneys worth out of it 😊.

Great job Jeff! I'll have to do mine. I'm sure mine has worn more over the years than your new one. When I first got it. The slop was tolerable for the most part. It seems it gradually got worse over the years. I think your fix should work though 👍

Still don't see how you calculate 1 degree. I've always eyeballed mine. But I have no idea of the Actual offset.

I think I may have forgotten your Burky Toxin is a enclosed barrel? If so, I can see how the spacing would be more critical.
