I have a brand new Turbo x it has never been cocked.I was going to cock it for the first time and it wont go very far on the rail and stops the belt seems like it is in a bind in the stock .I can get it back to the normal position but the handle is so tight when you crank it that Im not going to force it In the beginning it was like the thread that @Nbduckhunter1 posted about his Turbo X not cocking .I talked to tree-rat and did what he said to do to get the two silver bars to reset but still the strap is in a bind in the stock.Does anyone know of a new crossbow that the strap has issues straight out of the box? Thanks

I was at a shop recently where someone had a problem like this after their third shot on a brand new TP. The dealer took the crank apart and the strap was not bound up in the gears or plastic disks, nor was it twisted. Everything looked fine. However there was a broken part that wasn't functioning properly once he took the whole gear assembly apart. The dealer pulled out a spare of the same part he had and showed how it spun freely. But the one he pulled out of this bow did not spin freely. It was not a Turbo X. He said he paid about $1,700 - $2000 for it. The shop had another TP on the bench waiting for an Acu slide repair, but he felt the problem on that one was user error. I was paying attention because I was thinking about getting a Venom X. Needless to say I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Most issues with the Accuslide are due to people not following directions when cocking and decocking the bow. I had a Turbo X and a Venom X and both performed flawlessly. Also, some shops allow customers to shoot crossbows to see if they like them or not then will sell the bow they shot to them. Unknown to the customer the bow had probably been shot many times before him. I know of one shop that does this and they definitely do not follow the cocking and decocking instructions.

OK I just got back from having my Turbo X checked out .There was nothing wrong other than the belt was slack inside the stock there was no damage .He took it apart and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes .The tech said he had seen 2 other Tenpoint crossbows with the same issue straight out of the box .He also said there was nothing that I could have done to cause the issue! I appreciate the help from members on here trying to figure this issue out .I hope that no one got offended with something I may have said and it sure wasn't my intentions Im just a human being that appreciates all the help that I can get. Thanks
