Looking for suggestions for a crossbow broadhead target, that offers good stopping power but easy (or pretty easy) bolt removal? Hoping to get a target that my daughter will be able to get bolts out of. I hate having to stand on a target to pull bolts out of it. I use a ragbag target for fieldpoints and love it.

Whatever broadhead target you use, don't use field tips in it. It's actually harder to remove field tips than broadheads from broadhead targets.
I know that wasn't your question, but just wanted to offer that advise so you didn't find out the hard way.

Hi........

When I bought the Rinehart I shot some Zwickeys, Boltcutters, Stingers, GK and Slick Trick 175 gr. into it.

They were hard to pull out and I started to use and silicone and an arrow puller. Now there are many holes in it and can pull the arrows very easy, even if I forget to lube them.

DON'T shoot fieldpoints at new Rinehart, I had to learn that the hard way.

be safe

Yeah I've heard the horror stories.I bought the Scorpion Venom arrow lube and a puller when I got mine.I took the lube back and kept the puller.I still have never used it though.Their pretty easy to pull after a little wear.It probably depends on the heads as well.I mainly shoot mechanicals into it.

The Block crossbow target works well with my MXB-400. I've been shooting mostly mechanical heads lately and it does not do much damage to the heads. A head can be shot into it repeatedly (at least Grim Reapers can be). It's not a self healing target so you can wear out a spot. If you do you can repair it to some degree with spray-in foam insulation (be sure to let it dry thoroughly) or simply use a variety of aim points.

Do not shoot field points into a Block crossbow target. You will remember the experience. Especially in cold weather.

The 18-1 has a good reputation and may in fact be the most popular. I use the Block because it works well and I want a rectangular target.

For field points I think it is hard to beat a SpyderWeb. It handles 400 fps with ease. But turn it frequently and try to not repeatedly shoot the same spot too many times in sequence. Give it time to "heal".
