i had a few problems with my 165 from the start but in no way am i upset over it only because every time i called Jim he was there to take my call !!! and assured me that the problems that were showing up in a handful of xbows would be fixed just needed a little time to figure why a few had this problem,,,well folks i believe Jim has solved this problem and it is really an easy fix and an oversight that shouldnt have happened with the machining of the barrell where the cables go thru,,,the opening is about .010 closer to the cables than the blueprint so when fired the cable would hit the back of he opening causing the cable to hit it cut the cable ever so slightly with each shot,,, the cure would be to reverse the slider 180 and then rear cable would remain in the center of opening instead near the top and would also make sure where the cables crossed was on the other side,,normaly on left when looking down at barrell now would be on the right ,,,, now this probabley will throw out timing and would need to address that but need bow press,,, NOTE this is not the case on all xbows just a small amount !!!! but during machining if barrell wasnt placed excatly and/or debris in track b4 cutting opening would offset this hole at an est.of .010 per Jim's calculations,,,, still a fan of his handy work and the best customer support you could possibly get !!! if you want to bash Jim please use another form,,,thank you !!!
