Quite possible something may have changed, but I always thought that Tenpoint Had strict MAP pricing with its dealers and retail outlets. Map pricing means that retail outlets cannot discount prices lower. Their likely is ways around it.
Wyverns sells the bows for manufacture prices, but throws in many extras to bring the cost down.
If you can get a better legit deal someplace, go for it. More times then not, it pays to shop around.

MAP probably only applies to current year model bows. You see bows on Ebay that sell for all kinds of prices and they are legit TenPoint retailers. I bought my new Nitro X for a crazy low price a year ago. I checked the seller out and he was a reputable dealer.
It was my understanding the MAP pricing applied to all Tenpoint products, parts accessories, arrows, etc. .If you purchased on Ebay, were you able to register for warranty?
It was also questionable if Tenpoint would include warranties with bows purchased on Ebay. Again, I could be wrong.

Yes. As I said, the seller was a registered retailer by TenPoint. There are sellers on Ebay that sell new merchandise, not just used. People have the impression that Ebay is only used, shady merchandise. Not true. Big stores sell on eBay. Wyvern Creations being one. They go by the name of White Feather I believe.
I am aware of Ebay buying and selling. I actually know of several brick and morter stores that sell more through Ebay then their store. The concerns were regarding the warranty coverage on crossbows purchased on Ebay.

This from Tenpopint for clarification.

"Where the bow is bought or sold has no effect on the warranty as long as the bow has not been previously owned and registered. The warranty is between TenPoint and the end user. The user does need to register the bow when they make the purchase no matter where they buy the bow. " Within 30 days of purchase.

Wyverns on Ebay is "White Quiver

With regards to MAP pricing, it could be possible that discontinued bows are excluded.

Some retailers get around MAP by offering extras to sweeten the deal if they cannot reduce the price.
As I previously posted, Wyverns has been doing that for years. It is highly possible that others retailers do the same.
Also, to repeat myself, When it comes to prices, especially higher priced items, It pays to shop around. Do your research. You would be surprised on price variations, even on low dollar items.
