Unless you need maximum heat retention take a look at this VisX blind on sale at TideWe.

VisX See Through Pop Up Hunting Blind for Deer Hunting(2-3 People) - TideWe

$129 with their $10 off coupon.

The thicker 300D material is worth the extra dollars and for 1 guy, it's big and will suite 2 hunters as well.

I have two of these and they are a pretty good buy for less than $150.

I've got similar Primos blinds that are heavier material but that are also 3X the cost.

It was early 2021 when I saw my first see-through blind and it really caught my eye. At that time Primos had 3 versions of their pop-up hub style double bull Surround View blinds. Over the next 2 years I used them and really came to like the value of seeing out vs opening windows, especially peripheral windows. For the right hunter in the right place and time of year (not ideal in sub-zero weather), these are a definite blind type to consider.

The corner V shape door takes a little bending to enter but not bad. Covered zipper and also "clasp" type interior closures so you can be 100% silent and not "ZIP" it to close or open in the dead dark silence of your favorite spot.

For less than $150, it's a pretty nice blind.

NOW, if you want to be mobile, this is another consideration.

Backpack bag included and I've got the Axis tripod in it as well. Very light and super stealthy. This thing can be setup and tucked into brush in minutes.

I have had many kinds, The Ameristep Doghouse is still my favorite. Reasonably priced too!
Totally agree. Doghouse a great buy and built well
Not reasonably priced ... anymore. They were always around $50.00 up until a year or two ago, now they're like $140.00!

I have some Barronett pop up hub blinds. The only things I dislike are the "door" is a zipper on one of the corners, hard for me to get into and out of, and the tiny diameter wire "stakes" are a joke. I replaced them with big "nail" tent stakes from Harbor Freight.
I have one Ameristep hub blind with the triangle door, I like it much better. It came with a zip in floor that I have never used. Probably discontinued, since I have not found another one like it for sale.

The new Tidewe blinds come with horizontal windows that open silently and open from bottom to top. The one I bought a couple of years ago has the triangle windows and I hate it. I wish I had paid more attention to the details as I did not realize that the front window opened from top to bottom. All my other blinds open from bottom to top so I only have about a 4" opening that I shoot through. They took care of that with the horizontal windows. The door on the new ones (I have the old style) I believe will zip up and has quite fasteners so you can silently open and close the door up.

I have been using Doghouse blinds for years. Killed many deer out of them. I also use an Ameristep two man blind. It works well to.

I used this method to waterproof them. Works great and seems to prevent UV fabric degradation. Use odorless Mineral spirts.

I don't like the see through blinds. I tried one and depending on lighting, I felt like I was silhouetted against the back. Plus, the wind just blows right through them. I picked up an insulated blind from tractor supply at the end of last season for $100. It's built way better than the tidewe imo. I have 1 window open to shoot from. Its all black inside, zero light is coming through if the windows are closed. It fluctuates in price and was 199 when I looked the other day, it's back down to 149 now. It's been an absolute pleasure to sit in this blind so far this season.
