Where did you get it ?View attachment 162070 First shot at 30 yards on new target. Stopped it dead. Pulled out with 2 fingers. $36.00
Their even cheaper on ebay. Not sure why they are cheaper than the other hurricane targets. Maybe the cover?https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hurricane-...287&hash=item364d62d042:g:onMAAOSwG1Nc2W7u:sc:ShippingMethodExpress!30043!US!-1Amazon with free delivery. Now I just need a 600 fps xbow to verify.
The link I posted was $31.79 Free shipping Not 2 day though.Looked at eBay but with shipping it cost more. Pretty heavy. It comes with 2 day shipping also.
I picked this one up at a yard sale for $10 a couple of months. It was hardly used. The stuffing didn't seem very well packed and was kind of spongy feeling. Shot it a few times and the arrows were very hard to pull! They penetrated a lot but not too far. I put a little rail lube on the arrows and they pulled a lot easier. Not sure why they are cheaper, or pull the way a real bag target does either. I bought a Hurricane last summer when Cabelas had them on sale. Stopped arrows well, but a bugger to pull. Even lost an insert in it. Back to the store it went. Glad to hear that they got this one right.
Thats about all I use too Jeff is cheap DIY targets for field points. Some are a little fancier than others and some are more portablePaul, I just returned to using my cheap a$$ targets you love so dearly.![]()
I've got sheds around or shed roofs over mine.I have owned many bag targets over the years and found that they will soak up water during a hard rain. This makes them very heavy and they mildew which makes them stink. I put mine in my garage when I am finished shooting if it is looking at all like rain.
I think your right. I've only shot it a handful of times but did notice that.My Spyderweb 20" target does the same thing sometimes. I think the arrow welds itself into place because I can barely twist the arrow and it will then pop out using two fingers.
Its actually not sitting on top but about 5 yards behind the target.Very nice target stands Stalker, I am curious what the green thing is on top that looks like a tupperware lid?
Thanks. Best thing about them all is I have next to nothing infested in them. Pretty much made them all with stuff I had just sitting aroundVery nice setup, first class! Thanks for the reply.![]()
