Are there any alternatives to Lumenoc for ravin bolts ? I have had nothing but failure and head ache with the Lumenoc over the years

Lumenoks were VERY HARD to shut off and I also had some that didnt light up a few times when shot at targets and at a deer or three.

I naver had much luck with their gripper. When I first started using them, I struggled a bit to get them off, but quickly learned the best way. They are more harder to turn off on new arrows/nocks in my experience. While I still like Firenocks the best, the Lumenoks have worked well out of my Mission XR.

Well I said I would get back to you. Went to club inside range. 3 new Ravin lighted arrows. Put bow on Caldwell. 25 yards. Each arrow was accurate and lit right up. Pulled and used gripper and each arrow turned off. No issues.
Not as bright as a standard Lumenoc. On my Wicked Ridge I use lumenocks. The alpha noc by Ten Point is a pain in the ass.
Stay well

I slit a piece of automotive gas line on one side about 2” and cut the piece about 5” long. I can turn the lumenoks off very easy with it. I kinda wiggle it until it goes out. If you get it back to where your thumb nail will fit between the nock and shaft it won’t come back on by it’s self :).

I wouldnt recommend these for the SUPER FAST crossbows but I shoot these out of all 3 of my bows (ranging from 295 fps up to @ 385 fps). Works every time and very easy to cut off (I have a paneling nail tied to my quiver for the tool to cut the light off)...
