Doesn’t hit advertised speed rating? Not a big surprise… Not a big deal either - still have to look for your arrow somewhere off in the brush after zipping through a deer either way!

Yep, I’m so late to the party on these things I have lots of reports on actual speeds by actual members here if I feel like getting one. Besides, I shot recurves for most of my crossbow “journey”, so I am used to the numbers not being close to the advertised speed. From what I gather, the 450-455 grain arrows I hunt with shoot about 390-395 out of this bow. My X1 is 370-375, and the Barnett XP 400 I had shot 383. As you said, pass throughs with any of them.
