The Max has rendered the 360extreme obsolete.
But, at the right price, the extreme is a great bow, it was my favorite all around hunting bow. Until the Max dropped.

Search my previous post I took lots of pics and and did few little write ups on the Max earlier this year, before my work picked up again. Everything you mentioned above leans towards the Max.

maybe it's me but the arm that rides in the rail channel does'nt want to stay in the rail channel and sound like it's scratching it when loading and is a pain to remove once loaded.Im thinking of getting a charger ext crank and refit the nock on a old misson bolt to unload if i have to
I'm not sure what your technique is, and I'm certainly not suggesting your doing it wrong.
But depending on some people height, they often spread the ropes out wide and then pull straight, or taller peeps tend to let the bow go back between your legs more and pull the rope off the rail. Which in turn makes the hooks travel at different angles lifting the rear or back side of the hook lift off the rail

Both of these technique works fine before, but now it's very important to pull straight up online with the rail. Using the crank as a diagram, the ropes should be extending straight back off the rail, and if you are compensating for a rope that's too long, then go ahead and shorten it by an inch or two and see what works best for you
