Hey @OhioJoe Can a hunter line up a hunt on one of your properties, then come out ahead of time to pre-scout it if they do not want to hunt over bait stations?
You can not scout before the hunt for insurance reasons but you certainly can hunt anyplace you would like within the legal property lines . You do not have to hunt my sets but they are available for use..

Hey @OhioJoe Can a hunter line up a hunt

I will ask once again, and please just don't respond with call or text for info. What are the details with your hunts and prices ? Apparently, you are authorized to advertise your hunts here, so you should be able to answer specific questions here.
Others would like to know also.
Two straight forward questions, and no answers. My opinion, but things don't add up.

Questions that were answered, bit on the shady side. :(

If truly a upfront, honest, legitimate operation, should have no problems with providing requested info.

An Ohio outfitter with a PA phone number……. Leasing and “outfitting” are killing this state. Total nonsense. That’s all I have to say about it. WWB is a good guy and I’ve shared a Sika hunting camp with him. This Ohio Joe wouldn’t get a nickel from
Me but I can see why guys who live in areas who will never ever have a chance at an Ohio deer would be tempted. Last ill be in this thread. Just remember I live in eastern Ohio so I know that of which I speak on this topic.

Again we all have our own opinions. So having said that here's mine.
If AJ or WWB says that Joe The outfitter is a good dude, that's all I need to know.

Here you have a respected member of CBN that's not making a dime off this guy saying that he had a quality hunt for around $1,500, which by the way gentleman is super inexpensive.

Right now quality whitetail hunt in Saskatchewan Canada or other hotspots go for around $5000 and up.
Myself personally if I was still into jumping on an airplane and going places to go hunting like my yester years. For $1,500 bucks I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Just having that opportunity of being in that trophy rich environment is worth the entry fee.
I don't care where the guy's from. As long as he's legal, then I'm cool with it.
I've used booking agents that live in Alaska and have rigged up hunts in Africa for me. So I don't go by where the man lives.
Remember you get what you pay for, so if you want to be coddled, and wined and dined and a chocolate on your pillow at night then you're going to have to pay. And I'm not knocking that.
But for $1,500 you're not going to get coddled or pampered.

That is the truth anyone priced a hunt in Iowa lately or in Kansas 1500 won’t get you 2 days Let alone 5.. And Joe has the deer heard with quality bucks. Idk what else you want for 1500$ for 5 days.

Maybe you should keep your negative thoughts to yourself and just congratulate this guy and his dad on having a great time. Theres always 1!!!
I did. On my very first post in this thread. I said this "Congrats on the fine buck @WWB"

Welcome to the board! Love the first post. There is always 1!!

R. Toker is correct outfitters have made hunting ohio extremely difficult. Im lucky I owe my land without it I wouldn't be able to hunt. . I like R. Toker am life long resident ohio. Odnr should do a better job of policing the outfitters.

Just wanted to let everyone know the experience my father and I had while hunting with @OhioJoe.
Although an older post, looks like you had a great time. Too bad it couldn’t be left at that.
I'll keep Joes # and contact info and appreciate the reference.

I had the pleasure of hunting with @WWB and his father and will do it again this year. Also took a decent buck despite the warm temps. This year, we got a prime time to be out there. Beautiful hill country with some absolute studs around.
