Protection for Cams

An idea for all crossbow owners....using bow cam protectors from the vertical to protect crossbow cams. I have seen nothing on this so I think it is time to show you folks what I do. I may be a day late and a dollar short but trying to contribute a positive idea to our CBN. Maybe someone has already shown everyone this. Will post pics in just a few.

Okay.....Ravin R29X on the left....first photo ....with the Primos bowsling and the Mission Sub 1 XR on the right....second photo...with the Bohning bowsling. The second and third set of photos with the slings installed/attached. The Bohning is just a hair big for the Ravin so the Primos won out. But, the most important thing....they protect the cams. I think you can see how I routed the straps through the cables. I now have protection carrying/hoisting/laying down the bows.

I use the same scope covers in your pics, love them! Cam covers probably wouldn't work on my bow, the limbs are on backwards, as ole Jack Pine would say! LOL

Nice idea though!!!

Yes that's why I wanted them after seeing your Scorpyd picks! My cases hang in the closet and hate using them! I have slickers for my rifles and this is perfect.

Well, my Slickers came today! Great tip BBA! I won't be trying to get them back in their neat little carry bag though, LOL. Think I will just ball it up and put in my daypack or pocket when not in use.

Thanks to Frederick for starting this thread as well!!! You guys cost me money.....
