Long awaited REV "Y" is the latest update to the KODA-HO. With the addition of the top rail (now barrel) makes the REV "Y" shoot through riser possible. Swat type accuracy in a recurve package. Had a couple of small bugs but they are fixable.

Am sure there are features that haven't been mentioned. Extendable butt & adjustable cheek piece via knurled knobs , safety release inside the thumbhole. Done but not installed crank handle holder. Lots of help from CBN members on accessories & features. Arrow retaining brush information from Tree Rat on his Burky Meat Smoker build, arrow clearance into from Joe PA on is Swat that was perfected by Burky. Old Flyers barreled recurve pics. Still working on some more future additions.

Parts comedy. Was going to make my own string stops but these were so reasonable. So I ordered some string stops from Centerpoint. I ordered the left & right stops at $4.60 each and 2 pair of bumpers for $25.98 ($12.99 pair). I get the parts and left & right stops come with bumpers installed for $9.20 for the pair. Go figure?
Used the Centerpoint folding sturrip used by many on here including TX_RDXguy. Nice accessory!

Just put it on the scale since adding the top rail as posted in first post. As of 1 minute ago it is 10lb 4oz for a wood stock xBow.I have three sets of limbs. Been using what I think is the weakest limb set for now. Was at 394fps with a 400gr arrow without the rail. I believe 400fps is possible with a 400gr arrow. That said my go to arrow is 510gr with field point or broadhead and what was used today.

Post of some more features. Hook retention. This idea was from the beginning of this build to get the hooks out of the way. This is what I came up with and machined hook slots into the wood at an angle. Hidden under the cheek rest is a spring to give tension. Spring is then "Turned" into hole in the stock. Will post additional pics when fully assembled.

Due the the high poundage a crank is needed. Onboard crank was added. This addition also added a rear sling swivel. Stock was bored and and aluminum bolster was machined to fit. A bunch of searching but found a stainless quick release ball lock with features strength, loop and shortest possible length. Hate to sound lazy but no use reinventing the wheel and machining one from scratch or modding an existing one. Aluminum bolster has ridge that prevents loop spread. All stock inletting for the handle was done by hand.

This pic is strictly a wood shot. I am not the best photographer but wanted to show off the red & black laminate from a different angle. It is really striking in person hard to capture. Never really worked with laminate but discovered in this case grain makes a big difference. Sent Joe PA some boo boo pics back when gluing the fore end side plates with wrong orientation and the red just washed out. Metal is more my thing and wood was more of my father's calling. Started with Tru Oil and finished with Wipe on Polyurethane finish.

Made some progress on the electronics wiring today. Originally started with 60 series plugs but now have down sized to 30 series. My DIY battery pack consists of 2x 18650 wired in parallel for an output of 7000+ma. Pack features a low voltage cutoff @ 2.7v and USB 3.0 charging circuit and short protection. I made two battery packs with Panasonic cells. Stock fore end was inletted for batteries. Packs were finished with black heat shrink wrap.
