Long awaited REV "Y" is the latest update to the KODA-HO. With the addition of the top rail (now barrel) makes the REV "Y" shoot through riser possible. Swat type accuracy in a recurve package. Had a couple of small bugs but they are fixable.

Domestic duties today, have one of those things called a wife. She deserves some credit for giving me space & support. Did inch out have a couple of hours to get the xBow reassembled and check out and nit pick the hooks. Once I get the function perfected the aesthetics of the hooks can be worked on. The pic below is the idea in hunt mode & out of the way. When in target mode they can just be out. Width is inside the hubs of crank mechanism. Mentioned before the gray plunger in the "thumbhole" is a spring loaded safety release. This was machined from gray delrin. Knurled knobs were for cheek and butt extension were done in black nylon with tapped ACME threads. Butt plate and self modified rubber pad & cheek elevation hardware were courtesy of Boyd's custom gunstocks free of charge. I get lucky sometimes.
Made sure it was designed hooks up! Worked on the hooks, bead blasted the upper and painted it with flat clear gunkote. Baked paint for 2 hours. Installed and blue locktite all non Spiralock screws.
Well scope power adapter build today didn't go as planned but zip ties to the rescue. Not to dwell on the scope as that is another thread all on it's own. I can think about the redo after the hunting season is over. The power is more than enough for dawn to dusk with battery life to spare.
Awesome Willie. Don’t know that I want to do anywhere near that much work on a build at this point, but what you have done leaves me pretty uninterested in a simple factory crossbow.
I am a petty tough customer to please and this project took a few twists & turns. Tried to put my best in every detail whether mine or another bow makers part. KI, Center Point, Excalibur, Kodabow and aftermarket parts. Addressed some things wanted like the quick & convenient safety release. Jeff, thanks for the support over the last couple of years.
Actually the spares are factory black. I will paint them after the season. Really liking the Huskemaw. Also added some Hogue Wrapter to the pistol grip awhile back.
Impressive to say the least, congrats on a unique build that's sure to be a freezer filler!
