Woo Hoo! Confirmation of what I have been doing for decades.....plus I use an ozone generator to help de-stink my clothes, and also in the field in hopes of confusing a deer just long enough to possibly get a shot if the deer moves downwind from me.

I have been mulling over getting an ozone generator. Do you have any specific moments you can post about where you felt like it worked or didn’t work?

I've been using the unit pictured for several years now. I hang it on the side of the tree or blind downwind from my location. The unit is likely useless in a moderate breeze, but I have noticed that I have been seeing more deer downwind, when the breeze is gentle and when I am up at least 16 feet up in the stand or in a ground blind. I like to think that the unit provides a little "insurance" if the wind shifts a bit after I am all set up. I have also noticed that the unit has been more effective in the morning as the air warms and rises, dispersing my scent even more. Who can say for sure, but thinking that it is working keeps me on the stand longer. 🤔 I always try to stay as clean as possible and play the wind religiously. One thing I know for sure, using an ozone generator to neutralize odors on my hunting clothes does work, at least to my nose!
