Looks like an upgraded wrath 430x but without the stirrup to manually load it

Thoughts?

Looks to be similar to the Wrath 430. It’s not a ManKung product, probably made by HoriZone which historically has been a lesser quality product. The integrated cocking system is not a huge value point for me. It does have an upgraded scope. Jury is out on the trigger, fit and finish. First impression for me is it’s not enough of an improvement over the 430X to truly be a “Flagship” product. I’ll pass…..

Interesting. I would agree with Rich, looks like Hori Zone, but not sure. Being 6’2”, I didn’t care for the original Wrath “buttstock” at all. This looks like a small improvement. Im not sold on the built in crank, but some may like them. Was surprised when CP went with the Hori Zone “Hellion” as it’s higest priced bow last year, and it didn’t seem like they sold well.

I personally like the adjustability of the 430X and I don’t have to have a built in crank so this doesn’t really make me want one. Specs are basically identical to the Wrath. I am interested to see how fast it shoots. Lord knows the 430X doesn’t actually live up to its name when shooting a reasonable weighted arrow. Curious to see how much faster, if any, it is compared to the Wrath.

Everyone, I bought a CP Sinister 430 & after I put it together, I tried to sight it in the right limb broke, five shots. Ok so I called the warenty number & he said to take the bow to a rep, because I now had a loaded broken crossbow. I did & the gentleman managed to get the bow dicharged & then he went through his rep & they sent him a new front end for the bow. So my rep put the new front end on & took 2 shots & the very same thing happened to him, the right limb broke!! I'm telling everyone this because I think it's important that us bow hunters, who are spending our hard earned money on this bow, that it may be dangerous!! So far I have't seen any recalls on this bow but it's enough to worry me a whole lot! If this has happened to any others out there let me know. you can email me @ !

Looking at a picture of that crossbow, the thickness of the
limbs appear to be too thin for the narrow axle to axle when
the crossbow is cocked.
With the bowstring coming down inside the cams increases
the power stroke which increases speed.
Possibly a poor batch of limbs.
Wishing you all the best.
Take care.
