What is the proper way to adjust the screw on the top of the Accuslide?

I was shooting my 2021 Siege yesterday when I noticed it wouldn’t stay in the fire position. I could fire it if I got close to the target and held it in the fire position. After inspection, about an hour later I noticed I could turn this screw with my fingers, so I turned the screw in some. When I did the crossbow would stay in the fire position. It appears that this is some type of tension for the Fire/Safe switch. This morning I backed it out until it wouldn’t stay in the fire position, then turned it in a half turn at a time until it would stay in the fire position, then turn it in another half turn. Right now, I am one turn past where it will stay in the fire position. It seems to be working and feels about right.

Has anyone had this happen and does anyone know the proper adjustment? I have looked in the manual and online and came up empty. I would also like to put wax or Loctite (low strength) to keep if from moving once it is set correctly)

Can you be more specific about where the one thread is showing? Is it just under the screw head or on the end of the screw or?

My thought in regards to increasing tension to keep the fire/safe switch in the proper
position, below that screw could be a spring loaded ball. Not enough tension as you
mention the fire/safe switch does not work properly and also is why you could easily
turn the screw.

I've never touched the screw on either of mine, I thought that was a taboo with TenPoint.

Is it ok to put a little glue on it to stop it from turning.

I would use blue loctite or even fingernail polish on the screw. Either will keep it in place but are easily removed.

If you are going to do loctit, which I don’t suggest, loosen the thread, put a very small drop of loc tire on, let it dry, and then put the screw back in. That is a through hole and it you get loctite in the trigger parts, it will not be good.

After I read this post, I checked mine out and it was loose-I just tightened it so it was snug.
