Not hard if you have a press. But if you don’t, you will need to take it somewhere to have it done

one in each cam. This is for the bowstring only. For doing the cables I recommend

NO, don’t do this!!!!!

 

String with a press is a piece of cake. Cables are anchored on the axels and are a bite to replace. You have to at least partially remove the axels and washers/spacers then get everything lined back up and reinstall the axel. My only complaint with this bow but I'll never buy another bow with cables anchored on the axels again. I need to clarify the cables are inside the limb forks.

 

You can do it to your own bows, but the bows are not designed for this and it is not safe.

 

Different crossbow (Ravin R10) but I was about to buy a press when I became aware that some sporting goods stores will install the string for free if you buy it from them, Scheels for example. I figured you can't beat free installation, happy to let them do it.
