Anyone try this optic while wearing glasses?
I have. I also use a flip open lens cover vs the bellows style eye cup that comes with the scope, so that gives me a little more eye relief to play with. Adjust the ocular lens with glasses on or contacts in and maybe remove the eye cup if that helps.

I am curious, what is the center height of the Zulus?
I find 1" to center height rings work the best for me on my Scorpyd Orion.
The Scope Height that’s needed in the Ballistic Table is the measurement from the center of the objective lens of the mounted scope to the arrow center as it rests in a loaded position.

Not sure that’s your question….

Not my question. I'll rephrase it:

What is the height of the Zulus mount, measured the same as rings are measured? Center of round hole to top of the mount/rail cutout. I currently use rings with a 1" height, center of the round hole to the top of the mount/rail cut out.

Some measure the "saddle height" of rings. From the bottom of the round hole to the top of the mount/rail cut out.
Rings with the same center height will have different saddle heights if t,hey are for different diameter scope tubes. Such as 1" vs 30mm. That's why I prefer to use center height to compare ring heights.

Great start!

The 3.5" scope height seems high but may be right for the Orion. I'd adjust the caliber to the OD of the arrow shaft so 0.350-ish. Outside that, I'd turn on WiFi (phone and scope), press the Sync Ballistic Data option, then check the data in the scope in the Ballistic Options menu and make sure the Ballistic Data Settings for profile "A-Scorpyd" matches.

You're on track from what I can tell.

got the scope zeroed in just fine with 2 shots. That's a nice little program!

took a bit to figure out the hold over but also got that to work. Julie was along and had to get home, so we left before I was ready (went to daughter in laws Dads place)

So, I won't be using this on my Illinois trip. Not comfortable enough and don't want to miss a buck due to my incompetence!!!

Julie's shot is far left, aiming at center target

I shot at middle, right target

These shots at 45 yards, Swhacker broadheads with the screw holding them together

Looks quite modern and at home on the Scorpyd! Have a good trip to Illinois. Hope you have good hunting weather.

Still learning about this scope and have a ?. Anything wrong with zeroing at 40 yards? Most of my hunting is out west so shots are a little longer than 30 yards, just kicking this around, that way if I mistakenly push the wrong button and it just shows the zero yardage I can compensate easier.

I’m still definitely learning it myself but if I had a western state hunt it was legal I would definitely zero at 40 yards.
Curious what western states it’s legal for archery season in? Most western states have strict scope laws.

I haven't checked a lot, but in Nebraska it's legal if you remove the IR as far as I know.
Good to know Nebraska is on my hit list probably be a couple years tho .
Reading Kansas rules I’m thinking it’s may not be allowed. Some of these you almost need to be a lawyer to figure it out. Bye how they have seemingly contradictory statements.

I hunted Nebraska this year and the outfitter I used was Night-Vision savvy and he felt that the modular Zulus scope less IR illuminator was compliant. I plan to go back to hunt turkey and deer and plan to ask their Game and Parks to clarify that so I have it in writing.

Thanks for all the great info guys. I have been lurking and reading tons on the zulus. So much I fact that my wife caught on and ended up getting one for Christmas. (She is the best gifted) So she did get me the 5x20 and not the 3x12. I am super happy about it and was wondering if I could manage or if I should try and see if I can exchange for 3x12. Still in box unopened. I saw the model number on the shipping paper.

Congratulations! A great gift for sure.

I'm sure you can manage with the 5-20X but if you're hunting is typical xbow, shooting and now videoing 50 yards and under, the 3-12X is ideal. Field Of View will get pretty tight with an animal at 20 yards.

If you hunt more open area and 30-60 is more common, the 5-20X may be fine.

Choices....

I hunt in varying settings. Some are open and some can be kinda heavier wooded areas. I am shooting an Horton Rdx, so probably 320?fps with my ten point elite bolts and 125g heads. I would say most shooting in the 20-40 yd range, but there are some spots where 40-60 will be my norm. I will not shoot over 60yds with my current xbow. I was thinking about potential upgrade but after lots of reading seems like most opinions is even if your xbow is shooting 500fps, taking deer might not be ethical at 100yds. I was also considering a Texan SS air rifle. I have family member that offered to let me test it and I may use the zulus on that as well Hard decisons over here
