I know the scope is set up to start first dot at 20yds then 30,40,50, But can it be adjusted to start at 30yds then 40, 50.and 60. I am shooting the Ghost 400. Will it still compensate properly?

Hunt,

That would be more less of a trial and error question. I would just sight in the top line at 30 yards, drop back till you are hitting center with the second reticle, and mark that yardage. Then continue on until you have completed all four reticles. With the speed of your bow im guessing it should be close. Have a great weekend.

HUNT:
i have the Ghost 400 and with the Cross scope , i just recently set it up again, _and starting at 20 set it to be about 2" high and then from there your marks with a 100 grain tip should be:

1st circle 20-30 yds.
2nd circle 40
3rd circle 50
4th circle 60, and the line coming up from the bottom if you center it just under the target location is 70.

i enclosed the 70 yd 3 shot group from last night. i have moved the scope a little to the left but you get the idea. Shes a hot shooter and penetration is good.

good luck!

you know i shot the headhunters first and they seem to be about 2-3' lower than the Accuspine's so the only adjustments need to up the clicks on the scope and you should still get same results..

Yes absolutely. That's how I'm using my Hyper Raptor fixed scope. I sight in at 30 yards and use it for my 20 yard shooting too. At 20 yards my POI is 2-2.5" high. That will do the job for any double lung shot. 2nd reticle down, don't be surprised if it's not perfect at 40 yards. My fix scope 2nd reticle down is BE accurate at 40 yards. Makes everything simple.

Shoot on!

Duly noted! Gotta say the Hyper Raptor 410 Fixed scope is a surprisingly efficient and effective fixed scope. My only wish would be Barnett using cross hairs vs their reticle circles.
