OIC Prohibits a CROSSBOW!

Image

The poorly constructed OIC introduced by Bill Blair has inadvertently banned this crossbow.

The PSE Tac-15 uses a standard Ar-15 lower in its construction. Cost to CDN taxpayers to buy back $2000 each!

Now some bow enthusiasts have prohibited devices in Canada.

Weirder and weirder each passing moment!

This ban on these rifles came shortly after the dentist went haywire, posing as an RCMP and killed all those people, burning homes etc. For those people that legally have those style rifles and use them legally for target shooting, fine. The large magazine capacity is not needed for hunting. Where the problem exists, if you have them in your home and properly stored, some one breaks in while you are away and commits murder etc. the owner is in worse trouble to start with.

The same thing applies to hand guns. If you want to take them to a club or range, at one time you went directly there, then back home with them. I do not know if they have to be stored at the club now as I do not own one. Any fire arm has to be stored in a locked cupboard with a trigger lock. They prefer the cupboard bolted in such a way that it is only accessible from the door and no more fancy glass doors of yester year. Shells are to be stored in a locked cupboard, separate from the fire arms.

Several years back, all the fire arms had to be registered, non restricted, restricted etc. Taking a fire arm hunting, target shooting etc. this fire arm registration accompanied that fire arm plus your card to show you had taken a hunter safety course.
As for crossbows coming from the manufacture, anything 500 feet per second and over is classed as restricted.

All these regulations some which were an improvement (firearm storage) hurt the honest individual.

All the best.
Take care.

A firearm legally owned has to be locked in a cupboard and have a trigger lock on it?
The Canadian citizens have to pay $2000 of their tax dollars to buy back a crossbow the owner does not want to sell because it has a stock someone else doesn't like?
In a free country the acts of a few do not deprive the masses of their safety or property, the actions of the government only serve to make slaves of the people. It amazes me that people would tolerate that.

Cheers

At Bill Blair's direction, the RCMP have been quietly adding firearms to the banned list. As of yesterday, that included 255 target rifles and even bolt action shotguns. Slippery Slope not real? Riiiiight!

More Guns Banned, FRT Records Deleted

Earlier today we discovered, by way of the RCMP Verifier’s portal to a live-updated version of the Firearms Reference Table, that a number of firearms have been moved to the Prohibited class as variants of the AR-15. These firearms include the Typhoon F12 shotgun, a bolt-action shotgun, a number of Alberta Tactical Rifle’s formerly non-restricted rifles, and the Maccabee Defense SLR-Multi rifle. We do not know if there have been further prohibitions, or if there will be.

These prohibitions are being made under the legal authority granted by the OIC announced May 1st, specifically Section 87, which reads: “The firearms of the designs commonly known as the M16, AR-10 and AR-15 rifles and the M4 carbine, and any variants or modified versions of them.” In other words, they are considering these firearms variants of the AR-15, and are prohibiting them as a result.

The problem with that is that the RCMP’s own documentation prior to this specifically included various comments that would disallow this action. For example, the Maccabee Defense SLR’s former FRT entry includes a section for Canadian Law Comments that reads as follows: “This firearm design is derived from an amalgamation of several different firearm designs and does not trace its design lineage directly or uniquely to a “prohibited” or a “restricted” firearm found in the Regulations appended to the Criminal Code.”

“These weapons were designed for one purpose, and one purpose only: To kill the largest number of people in the shortest amount of time,” Trudeau said at a press conference in Ottawa Friday. “There is no use and no place for such weapons in Canada.” Then why do the police need them, I wasn’t aware that their mission was to kill the largest number of people in the shortest amount of time. Oh wait theirs are called carbines, not assault weapons.

They will pick us off one at a time. Most that own previously non-restricted are saying they will not comply.
The ones that I own which are effected were previously Restricted so Registered...

There is a handful of Action Items we are engaging in. If there is any interest, and if the moderators here approve, I can list them here...

Thoughts?

We are working towards that.

Again, if there is any interest, I am willing to post up just how that is coming together...

We are trying to get this revoked every way we can includeing trying to get a vote of noncomfadents of the liberal government. We are also trying to get our premair Kenny to hold a referendum on pulling out of Canada because of this and how 2 provences run this country. This Gun problem started out with lies bye the Head of the Toronto Police Department that said most of the guns used for criminal activity were from liegal gun owners. which was proved to be a total crock. This NS killings were miss handled by the RCMP right from the start. they were worned about this guy and did nothing to stop him. All the firearms he had were illegally sorced as he wasn't suppost to own any, and the RCMP were told he had them long before this outrage happened.

It sounds like you folks could use an electoral college up there if two provinces are running the whole country.:)
The confiscation of weapons in Canada or the US is not really about the acts of a few deranged people.
It's about acquiring absolute power over the people to impose policies they know the citizens would not tolerate if armed. The socialist's motives are quite clear.

I was in Alaska in the early '60's during the period the French Canadian separatists were making a LOT of noise. I clearly recall hearing the PM of either BC or Alberta make the statement that if Quebec succeded that his Provence would become the next U.S. State.

Probably not a bad idea at that. For sure those Western provinces have a lot more in common with most of the U.S. than to either the Toronto Govt. or the French. The latter who've been a major thorn in Canadian politics for many, many years. Kinda makes me wonder just what an honest referendum would reflect.

Any way you want to look at it tho, those actions by the PM are in and of themselves powerful reason for us all to take close heed and support our Constitution and those that uphold it.........and not the revisionist progressives!

Step Two:

By exempting "aboriginal people" in Canada, Trudeau committed a violation of the The Canadian Human Rights Act.
Any who are not of that description are being openly discriminated against based on race by your own government.

Here’s the step by step process to file an action with the Canadian Human Rights Commission:

Put your own words in or alter theirs to suit your situation.

Step Four:

For those of us in BC: Regardless of your thoughts / position regarding the BCWF, they have provided a platform to voice your opposition to the draconian moves by Trudeau et al. Take advantage of that!

Step Six:

Sign MP Michelle Rempel's official Petition calling for the the Prime Minister to immediately scrap his government’s May 1, 2020, Order in Council decision related to confiscating legally owned firearms and instead pass legislation that will target criminals, stop the smuggling of firearms into Canada, go after those who illegally acquire firearms, and apologize to legal firearms owners in Canada.

Share it to any social media you have.

Don't forget to reply to the confirmation email or its not counted, that might possibly wind up in your junk mail.
