I didn't know there was sypderco waitlist action happening. how do you do that? Im on a delica4/salt2 kick right now. what I want is a salt 2 in the same color code and blade finish as your blue one in the middle. I was a little worried that the blue would be too bright for me in person but it looks awesome in pics. Definitely need more salt options I don't care if I have to sharpen it more. I hate corrosion. Id rather sharpen it hourly than fight rust and greasy corrosion coatings.
Sorry for the late response as I wa

I'm late to respond after spending 4 days in N Michigan.
Spyderco does have an excellent knife forum that I never miss an opportunity to lurk on for information, mainly educational.
Spyderco offers a waiting list for their " Mule Team" releases. The mule team knives are very popular and sell out right quick.
I use Knife Center.com for my purchases and add my name to their up and coming Spderco release
list for notifications.
The H2 steal replaced H1. Out of the two H1 is considered to have more corrosion resistance. As an example , you will likely see more corrosion in H2 over H1 if you left it in a salt immersion water overnight.
Common sense tells us we shouldn't generally do this.
Spyderco does offer the Delica 4 in COM

Sorry for the late response as I have been in Michigan on Holiday 4 days.
Spyderco has an excellent forum that I never miss an opportunity to lurk for educational purposes. I suggest taking a look in your spare time.
Spyderco does offer a waiting list for their " Mule Team" limited runs. Spaces fill up fast and the line up sell super fast.
I use Knife Center.com customer wait list for knives I'm interested in buying. Their Service dept is excellent at notification when new knifes drop.
H2 replaces H1. H1 is considered to have better corrosion resistance. If you submerged H1 and H2 together in a salt water bath overnight H1 would come out in better shape. H2 is no slouch. Obviously, common sense tell us we should expose our knives to this torture...but, some do just to report back.
The Delica 4 is offered in CPM SPY27 steel (blue scales), I have this steel in my Manix 2 LW.
It had unknowingly fallen out of my pocket one weekend on a ground sit deer hunting.
I was extremely happy to find it there the following week. The blue handle jumped out at me.
SPY27 is a Knife that does excellent in all categories. It's not 100% perfect in any one area, but very good in all areas.
Mine sat in moisture and two days of rain for a week without a hint of corrosion, but this was not a salt environment, I might add.
I'm on a waiting list with Knife Center for the Manix 2 SALT.
This version is all black MagnaCut with a diamond Carbon coating .
It will be released in a second variation satin MagnaCut and bumble bee black and yellow scales.
