Paul, I just returned to using my cheap a$$ targets you love so dearly.

Thats about all I use too Jeff is cheap DIY targets for field points. Some are a little fancier than others and some are more portable

I bought the Hurricane target after I got my NitroX, nothing I had would stop the bolts. This stops them even at 15 feet when I was shooting through the chronograph, 415 fps. They pull easily also.

 

That’s a good deal on a target!

 

can you leave them outside in the rain and still get a easy pull? all my targets stay outside

 

I have owned many bag targets over the years and found that they will soak up water during a hard rain. This makes them very heavy and they mildew which makes them stink. I put mine in my garage when I am finished shooting if it is looking at all like rain.

 

My Spyderweb 20" target does the same thing sometimes. I think the arrow welds itself into place because I can barely twist the arrow and it will then pop out using two fingers.

 

I think your right. I've only shot it a handful of times but did notice that.

 

I bought the huricane target because of this review. These are the first two shots out of my Scorpyd Aculeus at 9 yards. While I can't say two finger removal they are easy to remove and stopped the arrows easily. Thanks for the review. Not sure how you could beat this target for less than $35 bucks.

 

Very nice target stands Stalker, I am curious what the green thing is on top that looks like a tupperware lid?

 

Its actually not sitting on top but about 5 yards behind the target.

I've since updated and made a top for the hanger I posted about above.
