glad you've had good luck with them man! Is your dad shooting these out of a Ravin?!
Nope. They are half moon so wouldn't even work for them afaik. I was just talking about lighted nocks in general.

My dad has a newer Barnett, the whitetail pro str I think, and I have a Swat X1.

I have never had the batteries come out of the nocks but I have only shot the Lumenoks to 440 fps out of my R20 into Spyderweb targets and my Blob target. The Blob is pretty hard and much harder than most field point targets. Besides if one comes loose it will go out and even if it comes loose all you will need to do is pull the nock, shake it out of the shaft and reinsert it.

This is a one of a kind brand new to the market arrow with nock included combo made for a specific bow. I had no idea that for the first time someone had put a cork into an arrow using a Lumenok but it is really not needed as all you would do as already stated if a battery comes loose is just to take it out of the shaft and reinsert it into the nock.
Plus it is made for a Ravin which has proved to eat Lumenocks for breakfast and only time will tell if the new version holds up.
I might buy some if and when they make them available to the public in a 3 pack of nocks at a reasonable price and if they have proven to be reliable.

When the battery comes out it crashes into the insert at impact and it’s crushed and won’t work anymore

Hmmm. When 2 of the 3 Lumenok nocks I had for my Ravin split in half at the shot I found both batteries in the bottom of the shafts and both still work just fine in my other Lumenoks. How many have you had crushed?

Heck yea!! Do you put the cork stop in your bolts too like the lumenok guys are doing? whats the straightness on your bolts? Do you sqaure your bolts? Def interested in your arrows!!
they are .001 yes they will be corked spine matched spine indexed and weight matched to .2 of a grain As well as have the weak sides matched And yes squared.

These were not the Ravin nocks made by Lumenock that I was referring to, I will never use those because they crack and can and will cut your string when they crack. Those were built to Ravins specs and are too tight on the string and into the nock bushing.

At $33 per arrow I’d definitely be giving AJ(WWB) or George(Mainstreet) a call to build their customs to absolutely know your getting the ultimate in arrow to arrow build consistency.

Interesting response from Lumenok about selling just the nocks. I can't imagine the shafts George and AJ using having any issue handling these. Seems worth trying to get away from Ravin factory lighted nocks (unreliable) and firenock (complicated and expensive).

I must be the exception. When someone mentioned pliers, I knew right there, that shooter never read instructions.
I shot Lumenocs before I went to xbows. I purchased a used R10. I got alot of arrows with it. I bought 3 lighted arrows.

Used one for 3 deer, from elevated blind. Noc always worked, shut off easy with a gripper and a few shakes.

All Swahacker pass

I've got a friend with an R29X that comes over to shoot every year before season. Shaking his factory Ravin lighted nocks did not turn them off for us. I'm a longtime lumenok user and have no issues with them in any other kind of arrows. But we've pretty much given up on his. Might give these new ones a try though

About the same price as Firenock, which in my opinion is a better mouse trap.
Is the Ravin warranty going to be voided with the New Luminock ?
i imagine it will void the warranty... but only if you tell them youre shooting something that isn't theirs? From what ive heard, ravin isn't as hardcore aboout that as tenpoint is

Ha! i bet you are one of the few that actually bothers to read the instructions! Seems like there is a direct correlation between having goodluck with lumenoks and reading the instructions!!
