I got a chance to shoot my Logix 435 today. I put 17 shots total through it and there's no signs of wear on anything or any signs of serving separation anywhere. Another member posted a review that showed his string not touching the rail on each side of his bow, his cables were rubbing, and the arrow was being lifted up off the rail slightly in the back due to the strings being lifted off the rail when cocked.

Thankfully, so far my string is still touching on both sides of my rail, my cables are not rubbing...which I did lube the heck of them and the cable slide before I put it together...and my string is lifted off the rail when cocked which slightly lifts the back of the arrow.

This bow is awesome...it's not as loud as I thought it would be. The arrow hitting the target is much louder than the shot of the bow. This sucker is long and won't leave much room for shooting arrows shorter than 20" with certain broadheads. Now I'll leave you with a few numbers to look at...

Nice information. Thanks for sharing.
In the second side view picture showing the bowstring lifted in the
arrow latch area, my opinion is the latches causing this. I would not
be concerned. As soon as the latches release the bowstring, it will
level out the way it normally should and the arrow nock will be where
it normally should be.
As for the other members crossbow bowstring off the rail, it was either
1)not assembled correctly, 2) not properly machined or 3)the rail stock
was warped or twisted.
Wishing you all the best.
Take care.

Great post—super helpful seeing all that weight/speed data laid out like that. Good to hear yours is tracking true and cables aren’t rubbing. I’ve seen a few with inconsistent rail contact, so it’s reassuring yours is behaving. Also, smart move pre-lubing everything. Sounds like Logix has a winner here with the right setup. Appreciate the real-world numbers!

FMCS, Great review. Thanks for sharing. I think this looks to be a great price point crossbow that really shouldn't be labeled a price point xbow. Also, looking forward to MattDDO who often does crossbow reviews for Killer Instinct LogiX435 on his YouTube channel. I'm in no rush.

FPS Specs:
I think is unfortunate that Killer Instinct continues to fudge FPS specs. That doesn't help their branding. LogiX is not even close to 435fps. Just name it Logix415. People will buy the this xbow if it's called Logix420. The industry is backing off crazy speeds. I'd accept your 390grain arrow vs mythical 370 grain arrow? How many hunters are using 370grain arrows to hunt with. Note: I know people who hunt the KI 390grain arrow (My son in-law) with his KI Ripper 425 to this day. He buys them and has killed 4 deer with young son and cousins when he takes them out.

KI Hypr-V - 390gr
Actual Weight - 388.8gr
Speed - 420.3fps

Come'on Jason, get it together. Stop the mythical and gratuitous 370gr arrow as a bench mark claiming 435fps. Just not a positive vibe. Note: This xbow is high on my radar for a 2025 to buy.

For those that are thinking of reversing the direction of the cable slide,
the cables may have to be reversed. What is now the top cable may have
to be the bottom one. Cams will have to be checked for level and timing.

Some crossbows, the cable slide will only fit one way due to how the rail
is designed where the cable slide fits.

All my crossbows of various brands and series, I have eliminated the
cable slides and served that area with BCY .030 serving and lubed that
area with Trident Silicone grease.

All my crossbows, the bowstring comes down outside of the cams which
increases the bowstring angle reducing the chance of serving separation
in the arrow latch area. Shooting arrows with 1/2 moon nocks I am able to
add an additional layer of BCY .030 serving over the original serving in the
arrow latch area adding further protection to the original serving and bow
string. Many thousands of shots on the bowstring and cables target shooting
with the occasional serving replacement.
With care, advancing the cams one can greatly increase arrow speed with
what ever arrow-point combination one wishes to use.

Wishing you all the best.
Take care.

Doesn’t hit advertised speed rating? Not a big surprise… Not a big deal either - still have to look for your arrow somewhere off in the brush after zipping through a deer either way!

Does have great bones for a Burky build though… 👍

Yep, I’m so late to the party on these things I have lots of reports on actual speeds by actual members here if I feel like getting one. Besides, I shot recurves for most of my crossbow “journey”, so I am used to the numbers not being close to the advertised speed. From what I gather, the 450-455 grain arrows I hunt with shoot about 390-395 out of this bow. My X1 is 370-375, and the Barnett XP 400 I had shot 383. As you said, pass throughs with any of them.

Looking good brother!

I'm actually going to try the lighted Hyper v-tracks for this bow and go with 150 gn points. I was pretty impressed with the way the non-lighted ones flew. Non-lighted and lighted both weigh the same supposedly so I'm hoping they fly close to each other. Lighted will have a little less FOC but I'm guessing the difference will be minimal. Time will tell.

Great looking OEM xbow. It's on my radar with what I think is the best de-cocking setup for xbows today. You can rope cock and de-cock and you can use the DSC CCD system to cock and de-cock. What more can one ask for!

How many shots gents and how are the strings and cables holding up?
