I've been shooting 100gn G5 Montecs since vertical bow days. Still working fine, sharpen easily and fly close to fieldpoints. Added some very similar VPA 100gn 3 blades lately. I like simple.

 

Zombie Slayer shafts,with either a 150 VPA 3 blade,or a Thorn Crown.Both fly exceptionally well and Sharp enough to get the job done. Good Luck on your choices.

 

You have enough energy to use any of those heads. I do like the swat TI because you can set the front blades back a few degrees. Not sure which stx's you have.

But all of those will blow clean through. You're producing likey 90-92 lbs of energy, and most vert compound guys are making 70 at BEST. Penetration is a problem we have made up in our crossbow heads.

My vote is for the 100 grain Slick Trick XBow 4-blades or Swats. I haven't tried 100 Grain Swats yet as I only have the 150 grain Juggernauts. Set your foam target up and see who the winner is?

 

I use 200 and 250gr VPA’s out of mine. They fly perfect.

 

Call me silly, but I've always stuck with the factory arrows & Excalibur 's recommended 150gr Boltcutters for both my Mag340 & Equinox. Arrow splitting accurate - excellent passthrough & deadly.

 

I bought the Rev X and Mag 340 at the same time and Dave at Wyvern’s sent Zombies for both… So don’t have factory arrows… Very pleased with accuracy just more what will this push through a deer as the Mag 340 is the slowest crossbow I own. 🤔

 

150 Boltcutters with my 340. Accurate, reliable and 100% pass through thus far.

 

I use 150gr 3" swhackers with my micro 340 total weight 520gr, shot a big doe she turned as I shot , hit in front of the left front leg and exited out the back of the right hind leg total penetration and stuck in the ground , never under estimate the power of a heavy arrow

 

3 Blade VPA is a great head. You just have to know how to sharpen them.

 

Used the VPA 250 3-blades with my recurves/longbows for years. Very easy to resharpen…

 

Dragon Claws with 150 grain Slick Tricks XBow broadheads come in at 450 grains have been dead nuts accurate for me.

 

Still leaning on the 100 gr XBow Slick Tricks or Rage on the Zombies at 405 Gr… Most likely the Slick Tricks.
