Just got a new crossbow hard case . Early Christmas present from my beautiful Southern Belle 😍. Plano Manta. Looked at the Spire & another, the Spire was a hair too small for the width of my Micro340 & neither of the other 2 had room for arrows. The Manta has adjustable length for stock, place for arrows & solid latches, foam & tie downs. It's also wide enough to fit my older wide limb Equinox.

I got one of these some years back. I found it a little "too bulky" for my needs.
My Micro 355 fits in the Spire. Now mind you, I don't store arrows or quivers or anything extra in the Spire. My quiver with arrows is attached to my Remington pack.
The extra arrows and heads go in a MTM crossbow arrow case when I travel.
3 of the 4 places I hunt are a 10–15-minute drive from the house.
The 4th is an 8-hour drive one way.
By the time we pack coolers and other gear, I'm looking for the smallest crossbow case I can find.

You guys shooting the older long limbed Excals will love the Manta. It has room for everything, even the kitchen sink!!(y)

And Wolf, after you get the engine, tires and steering wheel attached, post pictures. ;)
And one last question ... What'll it turn in the quarter mile??? 😎

I know this is an old thread, but my personal experience regardless if its a rifle or crossbow if it wears a scope it's goinmg in a hard case. I bought not one but two Manta cases so I can always bring a backup crossbow and did a few mods to them Ill post here.
Way I look at it I have $2k+ invested in crossbows and crossbow only related items not going to skimp on a crossbow case.
I have an EXt-Cab 8'bed truck so case size is negligible. Manta is the ONLY hard case I know of <$150 that will easily fit my Excal Assassin-EXT both in width and height.

I might be able to help. This will require two people and at least a 9" torpedo level to do it to insure a good accurate reliable measurement.
If you take your crossbow and place it on a table what makes contact first with the table?, the bottom of the pistol grip or the bottom of your buttpad or stock. Which ever does place you crossbow on which one makes contact first with the table and balance the crossbow on the butt stock and pistol grip and place the 9" torpedo or similar level on the highest point of your Burris Oracle scope and measure from the table to the bottom of the level and post that measurement here and I can check to see if it is low enough to fit in my Manta case.

My tallest crossbow is 10.75" to the top of the scope and It fits fine, but I do not recall how much room it has to spare. If you can give me your crossbow height with scope and its greater than
10.75" I can see if it will fit, if at or under 10.75" your GTG.
