So after seeing how cool @Bowhunter4life made his Suppressor I was contemplating buying a micro to do something cool myself. After missing out on a couple I said to myself..."self you have the perfect canvas hanging on a hook already". So I reached out to Jeff to make sure he didn't mind if I did a little makeover on the ol Hybrid. He said he didn't care so off I went. I painted the limbs with a flexible paint designed for car trim and bumpers to make sure if could handle being cocked and fired. I sanded the stock down and re-stained it black and attempted red after but that didnt work the way I planned and kinda blended with the black. I decided to go with an antique look and lightly sanded the stock in spots to make it the way I envisioned. Once I saw it I was in love and sprayed it with semi gloss poly. Today I reassembled it and threw on a beautiful Myers flemish he made me when I had the black and black cherry vision. I think it still looks great on it and adds some flavor lol. I shot it today and like always it was spot on to 40. What do you guys think?

Ha, you made it look so good the deer will fear it now. ;)
I think they fear it anyway since I've never had a deer come out while hunting with it. 🤷‍♂️

It looks great! But if you are wanting to trade me for that old Horton I posted, I’m gonna prolly need a little boot
I guess I could throw in a ham sammich! 😂

Dang that looks like a totally different bow now!!! Nice job !!! The real question is do you want to hunt with it more now that it’s all spiffed up 😂
Heck yeah. Been trying to get a deer with this bow for a few years now. Maybe the color change will change my luck lol.

Not Jim, but…

CRT limbs
9.5 power stroke
340# @9.5”
Not sure what Jim is shooting, but it has shot 450 grain at 325 fps.
Thanks Jeff! I was going to refer all this to you anyway lol. I'm shooting 425 gn from it now so should be a touch faster.

Its looks great! And is that a top mount quiver attachment for a excaliber?
For this bow, yes. It's not really an Excal though other than the limbs. Jeff had it on the bow. I like it a lot.
