Which one guys? I smoked a doe this morning with my muzzy but was not impressed with the blood trail. I am wanting to try something different that is devestating but need your guys imput. I have decided on either the slick trick or NAP spitfire. Which one do you think is better and also which Slick Trick do I buy? Which NAP do I buy? Do I go with the spitfire, spitfire maxx, or the killzone??? Which one flies most like the field point. I need help fast as I am down to two arrows and two brodheads and that is it. I need more now. I have lost three arrows and three brodheads since yesterday. I shot a doe last night on the ground. Arrow went straight through her and kept going. That was one arrow and brodhead. Daughter shot at doe this morning and missed. That was another arrow and brodhead. I shot doe went through her and stuck in a tree. That was my third arrow and brodhead. Need new and need now. Please give me as many responses as possible so I can order tonight

The NAP Spitfire & Killzone has the close poi as a field point, the Max planed ever so lightly for me but isn't too far off from poi. Slick Tricks are also good broadheads if not one of the best for a fixed blade broadhead. I personally like the Spitfire because I don't have to resight my bows to use them, just make sure to practice with them on the arrows to make sure of the poi. Use a piece of dental floss around the blades to keep them from deploying when it hits the target. Good luck with which ever you choose!

Why not use the practice blades? You can buy the practice blades, remove the hunting blades, install the practice blades.I have two dedicated heads for practice.

I killed a doe with the Killzone trophy tip 100grn yesterday. It wasn't the xbow version. It left a 3 inch entry hole.It was a quartering away shot and the head lodged in the bone of the neck after going through 3 ribs lungs and the top of the heart. She went down instanty 0 yards. No damage to the head at all.I have no doubt it would have been a massive blood trail with a broad side pass through. They also come with a practice head that is dead on with the real thing and can be shot into rag bag targets.
Shot with my back up bow shooting 290-295 fps

The buck I got opening day was shot with 100 gr killzones.

They shoot poi to the field tips no problem.

I hit him just behind the shoulder, passed through completely. Blood trail was very easy to find. It looked like I hit him with a chainsaw.

He dropped less than 50 yards away, and he was dead when he went down.

I'm very happy with the killzones.

Were you using the xbow version or the regular version? Coc tip or Trophy tip? I bought mine before the xbow version came out and got the Trophy tip.

Does the NAP spitfire have to be the crossbow version. I cant find the nap spitfire crossbow brodhead. I found the nap spitfire 100gr. Would those work. Also i was looking at the rage crossbow BHs. They come with a practice head. Anybody have experience with them? Good? Bad?

I used the Rage xbow head on a Red Fox last season seamed to work well but I saw a very bright spark upon impact with the Fox when the blades opened.I have read about the blades cracking on them as well.I have used the regular Rage 2inch heads with good results.I could not see any difference in the regular head and the xbow head except for blade size. Some say the orings are stronger or the notch in the blades are deeper but I see no difference.I think they come with shock collars now or you can get them for all Rage heads I believe so it doesn't matter.I have not shot the spit fires because they dont come with a practice head.I have read that the practice head that they do sell fly's different from the real thing. I like the Killzones by NAP.I just have the regular version with the trophy tip.I will probably try the xbow version next season.

I was using the Barnett 125 grain x-blades, same as a trufire 3 blade switchblade expandable. No deer I shot went more than 20-30 yards. Very Accurate.Down to 1 left so I bought the Grim reaper xbow razor tips in 125 grain. Bought these because they came with the practice head and the naps did not. 2 shots and the practice head broke. Emailed Grimreaper- 2 days later new one at my door. Great customer service! Practice head flies like my field points. I won't shot anything that doesn't. I will let you know how the grimreapers do in a hunting situation.

Forgot to mention the killzones come with a practice head that fly's the same as the real head.

No the spitfire does not have to be the cb version. I was using the 100gr spitfire and was very satisfied with it. I switched this season to the Nap 170gr due to hogs invading our lease. So far I am satisfied with them although the drop after 40yds is fast. As for blood trail, I find that ground level pass thru shots do not give you a good blood trail as bleeding is more inside. Tree stand shots give you a blood trail a blind person could follow.......Poindexter

Harvested my second deer this weekend with the killzones. Same result as the first. Excellent penetration, massive blood trail, accurate flight. The deer did not get very far after it was hit. Very satisfied with them.

I shoot the 100 grain crossbow version with my Recruit, it is a deadly combination.
