After four shots my string exploded on my Tornado with custom string suppressors added. Only a few strands was holding the bow together. I began hearing a lot of other Tornado owners post this mishap on forums. I believe that one of two things occured. Either Parker got a bad batch of strings or the the suppressor rods were put on in reverse. The rods have a cut off end with very sharp edges that will no doubt cut into the rubber suppressor. My event blew a small hole in both rubber stoppers. I put on a custom string, reversed the rods where the soft rubber cap was placed on by Parker and put the capped end inside the rubber suppressor and have had no problem. This is a terrific crossbow once set up correctly and with strings other than factory! Servings are terrible as we all know.
